Shampoo is specifically designed to balance oily scalp, eliminate dandruff, and repair damaged hair.
 
The key active ingredient in the shampoo is birch tar. It is produced from the bark of the birch tree through dry distillation. This phenol-rich substance has excellent bactericidal, fungicidal, and insecticidal properties.
 
Birch tar is one of the components of balsamic liniment, a topical medication for wounds, burns and skin ulcers that used to be very popular in the Soviet Union. It can also be used as a supplementary treatment for psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, and some other skin conditions.
 
In shampoos and other hair care products, birch tar is used as an anti-dandruff ingredient: it kills the bacteria and fungi that cause dandruff. In addition, it prevents greasy and flaky scalp, strengthens hair shafts from root to tip, and helps to restore the hair’s natural elasticity, flexibility and healthy shine.
In addition to birch tar, shampoo contains mild surfactants that cleanse the hair very delicately, make it softer and tamer, prevent tangling and frizz.
Like most natural products, the shampoo doesn’t have an immediate effect. But if you use its regularly, you will notice the gradual improvement in the condition of your hair and scalp. And, unlike silicone-based shampoos, this product has a real and long-lasting effect.
 
How to use: apply a small amount of product to wet hair. Lather, rinse with warm water. Repeat if necessary.
